This glove allows someone to control a computer using hand gestures.
The glove is fitted with accelerometers. They send values to a micro-controller fitted on the back of the hand using SPI. The micro-controller in turn sends the values back to the computer using USB. On the computer custom software is run to interpret and convert these accelerometer values to mouse and keyboard inputs.
Make “metal” gestures to switch between keyboard and mouse mode. Most time was spend reading lots of data-sheet pages. C is used on the MCU. On the host computer a C++ application is used.
